Nicole Levine, President
Nicole Levine is one of Firefly's co-founders. She served as the organization’s first Executive Director and successfully established Firefly’s presence in Russia. Previous to working with Firefly, Nicole was Associate Director of Marketing Development for the Corporate Executive Board. More recently, Nicole served several years as Chief Development Officer for Higher Achievement. Nicole currently serves on the board of Miriam’s Kitchen.
Diana England, Secretary
Diana England is a consultant in human resources, organization development and strategic planning. Her clients have included the National Rehabilitation Hospital and Innova. As a board member of The England Foundation, she oversees grant making. Diana has two children adopted from Russia.
J. Jonathan F. Baker, Treasurer
Jonathan Baker and his wife Julie co-founded Firefly in 2000. From 1988 to 2001, Jonathan held positions as Vice President and Managing Director at the Advisory Board Company and later the Corporate Executive Board. In 2002, he became the Director for Business Development for Greenlight Energy, a wind energy development company. In 2007 Jonathan cofounded SolSage Energy, a solar energy company, and serves on its Board of Directors. He is also a partner in Kelly, Baker and Partners, LLC, which provides management and consulting services to startup and growth companies. Jonathan holds a BA in English and a BS in Economics from the University of Virginia. Jonathan and Julie live in Charlottesville on a small organic farm with their five children, two of whom were adopted from Russia and Romania.
